6 WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR ENERGY
1) waterfall visualization
When you walk into a room and someone is full of rage. A great way to protect your energy is to train yourself to imagine a waterfall between you and that person. Think of the water keeping your energy pure and clear. Allow the noise of the water to relax you from any chaos around you.
2) shielf yourself - LIGHT BUBBLE visualization
This is another visualization tool. Imagine that there is a white light circling around your head. Allow that light to encircle your entire body, all the way under your feel. Tell yourself that this bubble of light shields you of all troubles, dangers, and anxieties. Feel how strong the white light energy is. Any energy that may negatively affect you cannot enter your protective bubble. In addition to using this when people, places, and events seem to catch you off guard, put it into practice. Because of the power behind this visualization, practicing this daily helps remove that need to catch yourself! Perhaps it is in the morning when you are brushing your teeth. Perhaps it is when you enter your car. This one is great to get in the habit of doing.
3) Present visualization
Let's say you watched something on the news and it really affected your energy. Imagine that there is a present in front of you. Allow the troubling energy from the news to go into that gift box. Imagine yourself giving that box back to where it came from. Ask the universe to transmute that energy into love as you return it to the person, place, or event.
4) Ask...who does this belong to?
When in a situation where it is hard to discern your energy from others, ask yourself, "who does this belong to" and trust that your intuition knows! Allow yourself to step into the energy that belongs to you.
5) scan your energy
Having your own emotional awareness and doing energy scans when you are about to be around people and enter places is a wonderful tool. Scan your energy a few times a day. To scan your energy, simply acknowledge how you feel, mentally, emotionally and physically before various situations. This is a helpful tool because you can clearly know what energy is and is not yours.
6) Have a protection amulet
Amulets are typically thought of as protective jewelry or stones that guard against darker energies. Choose something to be your amulet. It doesn't have to be jewelry or a stone. It can be glasses, a scarf, a certain color, a water bottle, etc. Anytime you feel energies that don't serve, get in the habit of holding, wearing, or using your chosen protection tool.
