 The planets represent different aspects of your personality and the energies and way you go about different life experiences. Understanding the planets helps us understand our journey through time. Have you ever been asked... what sign is your Venus in? Or what sign is Mars in for you? Etc... If you aren't familiar with astrology or even if you are, you might be thinking... what on earth are they referring to? Mars sign? Venus sign? Huh? Let's break it down. First, I want you to imagine the universe where there are planets traveling around the sun, passing through constellations as they go. Now, I want you to imagine that someone took a photograph of the universe the moment you were born. When you were born certain planets were situated in certain zodiac constellations. Perhaps right at the moment you were born, Mars was situated in the zodiac constellation of Capricorn. This means that, for you, Mars is in the sign of Capricorn. Perhaps in that same photograph, Venus was in line with the constellation Aquarius. This means that your Venus is in the sign of Aquarius. To break it down even further, some areas Mars represents include how you take action or make something happen. For you, you would make something happen and take action in a Capricorn-like way. One area Venus represents is how you love and enjoy beauty. You may come to find that the way you love is in an Aquarian-like way. To understand what planets are in what signs for you, you will want to get a birth chart reading. To get this, you will want to know the city you were born and the exact time that you were born. If you don't know the exact time, use your best judgement. Typically, the planets most likely will not change too drastically. However, keep in mind that even a few minutes off can run the risk of changing parts of your birth chart. One of my friends was off by two minutes and had a completely different mercury sign.
