HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR CLAIRSENTIENCE ABILITIES
Clairsentience - ​clear feeling, sensitivity to pain or touch, emotions that surface, empathy
You interact with the world through your physical and emotional feelings. Having a “sense” about a person, place, or situation because you can feel  things energetically. Being an empath is a form of clairsentience and means you feel the emotions and physical pain of others. 
​
  • You are highly sensitive and may have difficulty dealing with or being in crowds.
  • You can easily feel if someone is trustworthy or not.
  • You are sensitive to certain fabrics.
  • It bothers you when people stand too close.
  • People may have told you that you are too sensitive.
  • When meeting someone new, you first notice how you feel around the person, such as being comfortable, amused, safe, and so on.
  • You feel the emotional and physical pain of others (if someone is depressed, you feel depressed, if someone is happy you feel their happiness, is someone is in pain you feel their pain).
  • You sometimes confuse others’ feelings for your own.
  • Get drained quickly when around certain people or lots of people, for example, you feel overwhelming sadness when your friend loses her grandmother, as if it was happening to you.
Using Clairsentience in Everyday Life
  • Physically you may feel out tools that may benefit, “what feels right?” For example, if you are feeling stressed and suddenly you feel the sensation of what it would be like to put lavender oil on, and it feels calm and relaxed, then can go ahead and apply it.
  • You may have a feeling that eating a certain food will make you ill and you choose not to eat it and then another will really help you feel. You physically feel it in your body, as if you already ate it.  
  • You feel pain in your heart, you then can incorporate a conscious tool, such as a rose quartz, which is a heart healing stone.
  • Emotionally you are able to discern what places, situations and people are good vs. bad by “feeling them out. ”For example, (in the present) you may feel very comfortable at a certain places versus another.
  • You may meet someone and you feel safe and calm in their presence, for example, (in the future) You may have a feeling that a certain party is going to be toxic and then choose not to go.
  • Trust in what you feel.
Learn How to Strengthen Your Clairsentience
Psychometry
Psychometry helps you tap into the energies of object by touching them with your hands. (can be used with the other clairs but especially this one)
  • Ask a friend to give you an object to use for practice. Jewelry is a great object, because there is typically a history of story behind them. This means that it has a lot of direct energy. Any object that is sentimental or that holds a lot of energy is great. 
  • Sit down in a comfortable place and rub your hands together to get some heat/energy flowing. Notice how your energy and body feels prior to holding the object.
  • Next, hold the object in your hands, close your eyes and go within. 
  • Open yourself to feeling the energy. Do you receiving any emotional feelings? How does your body feel?
  • If you’re stuck, ask: What is the gender of the person who owns this? Are they happy or sad? What is/was their job?

Find the Object by Feeling
  • Get a partner.
  • Have the partner choose a small object in your house.
  • Step outside and have the partner hide the object 
  • Come back in once the object is hidden and feel out where the object is. Imagine a string light energy connecting you to the object. 
  • To focus in out it ask yourself: Is the object in the basement, kitchen, living room? Is it high or low in the room its in? Is it behind something or under something? 

Energy Scanning
As someone sensitive to others energies and emotions, I advise you to scan your energy a few times a day. To scan your energy, simply acknowledge how you feel, mentally, emotionally and physically before various situations. This is a helpful tool because you can clearly know what energy is and is not yours.

We all have different degrees of sensitivities. Becoming aware of your own personal sensitivities can help you use them to your advantage in everyday life. The term clair is latin for “clear.”  The clairs are clear, or heightened, senses that coincide with extra-sensory abilities (information about something without using the normal senses). We each typically have one or two dominant abilities. ​
